As Sr. Vice President at Synopsys, a silicon-valley headquartered company, Jumana Muwafi leads a global organization developing & supporting intellectual property (IP) cores that provide proven building blocks for silicon chip designs in mobile, high-performance computing and automotive applications. She oversees Engineering, CAD and Customer Success teams delivering products & services to customers. She has previously held technical positions at IBM TJ Watson Research Center in NY and Teknekron Communications Systems in Berkeley. With 30 years industry experience, Jumana brings a deep understanding of the semiconductor eco-system, building and integrating global teams, and managing customers world-wide.
Jumana was born in Beirut to Palestinian parents and has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the American University of Beirut and a master’s degree in computer engineering from Syracuse University, NY.
